Who We’re Looking for:

You are an extremely detail-oriented, organized, results and data driven professional who is passionate about supply chain strategy, problem solving, and working with a cross functional team.  You are very comfortable working with back-end data, spreadsheets, and ideally have experience writing/editing excel formulas and/or coding macros. You are also very comfortable communicating and setting clear expectations with internal and external team members.  You are also willing to wear multiple hats and help where needed as we are a small tight knit team. 

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with all suppliers
  • Drive supplier assessment and selection (with support from Engineering)
  • Request for Quotes from suppliers during development and through production
  • Place purchase orders with suppliers to receive inventory to meet production schedule requirements
  • Work with suppliers to arrange pick up or delivery of inventory to meet schedule requirements
  • Manage and maintain master order sheet to ensure inventory levels of parts and sub assemblies are available in sufficient quantities at the correct time to meet production build schedule
    • Work with Production Manager to provide inputs to production scheduling
  • Manage receiving and inventory transfer systems to maintain physical inventory control of all inventory parts and assemblies from receipt of inventory through warehouse storage and into production (Quickbooks Enterprise and internal inventory transfer workflow)
  • Lead inventory audits with support from Production Manager
  • Supplier Quality- communicate and ensure suppliers meet our quality standards and requirements.  Establish quality checks and audits as necessary with suppliers
  • Incoming quality- manage and drive quality checks of incoming goods as needed.  
    • Use quality best practices such as AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) calculations to establish appropriate sample size
    • Work with engineering for appropriate tests if one is not already established
  • Maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and rev control for all production finished goods, parts and assemblies in Quickbooks
  • Driving continuous improvement projects
  • Wear multiple hats and help as needed where needed across varying functions
  • During slow periods for this role, proactively look for opportunities to help and make us better!

Position: Sales

Are you passionate about snowboarding and eager to spread stoke for the sport all over North America? Want to live and work in beautiful North Bend, 25 minutes from Alpental, surrounded by excellent bike trails, hiking and rivers, with a group of snowboarders just as passionate about enjoying the outdoors as you are?  We are seeking an enthusiastic in-house sales representative to join our team.

As an integral part of our company, you’ll be working closely with a broad network of retail partners through the different stages of our sales year.  You’ll be educating their teams on our product and brand, maintaining these key relationships and cultivating new partnerships to drive sales and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Introduce and educate retailers on the Karakoram product line
  • Collect and audit retailer pre-orders
  • Provide product training and clinics to retail partners, both in-person and virtually.
  • Retailer Merchandising (in person & web)
  • Conduct frequent check-ins with retailers to ensure their needs are met and maintain a spreadsheet of key retailer metrics, relationship history, and feedback (dealer input sheet)
  • Develop deep relationships with key shop partners, including our team of shop ambassadors

Position: Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse Production

We are looking for a well-rounded individual to help with Shipping and Receiving and to support our customer service team.  Additional roles will include supporting production needs throughout the year.  We ship the gear we make to snowboarders and splitboarders all over the globe.  You will be responsible for helping to get this product into their hands through packing and shipping orders direct to consumer and to our retailers and distributors.  Shipments go out daily and we aim to ship orders within 24hrs excluding weekends.  Additionally, this role will also help support our customer service team through shipping warranty and crash replacement items in a timely manner.  We aim to respond to all customers within 24hrs and if we can get them shipped what they need to get back up in running in that time frame that is even better.  At times this role will also will also help by responding to customers when they reach out to us, building long term customer relationships and generally maintaining stoke in our brand via person to person interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Packing and Shipping direct to consumer orders from our webstore
  • Packing and shipping orders for Retail and Wholesale accounts
  • Packing and shipping warranty and crash replacement components to customers
  • Maintaining accessory inventory Kanban levels so shipping can be done regularly without delay
  • Receiving inventory and helping to manage Warehouse SOPs
  • Support customer service team as needed by responding to emails and dm’s
  • Help webstore customers with real-time product questions via webstore chat
  • Assist in warranty and crash replacement binding rebuilds
  • Develop lasting relationships with Karakoram customers
  • Handle customer service issues, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Follow SOP to track and log incoming warranty issues
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Go the extra mile to make lasting brand connections with customers
