Home Town: Salida, CO
Local Mountains: Rocky Mountains

Splitboard Bindings: X-CARBON
Splitboard: Weston Carbon

Josh was completely snowed in at a Forward Operating Base in Afghanistan when he made the decision to get out of the military, back to the mountains, and fully immerse himself in what he loves. Since he moved to Colorado in 2012, he has broken the speed record climbing and skiing/riding all 54 of the states 14,000′ peaks, chased first descents all over, and continuously looks for backyard expeditions that show people how incredible the wilderness can be just a stones throw from their own front door. He is currently authoring a completely different kind of backcountry guidebook called Journey Lines, pursuing certification as a mountain guide, and advocating for public land and climate with Protect Our Winters every chance he gets. His writing and riding has been featured in numerous print and film pieces.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/12″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][minti_spacer height=”350″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”full_width_section” bg_color=”#ffffff” top_padding=”0″][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text][elfsight_instagram_feed id=”26″][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”full_width_section” bg_image=”17401″ parallax_bg=”true” stellar_class=”fixed”][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][minti_spacer height=”900″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
