So we just got back about a week ago from a whirlwind trade show tour of SIA and ISPO.  What a trip!  Splitboarding is truly taking off and it’s pretty amazing to be right in the thick of it.

It was great to see the excitement for our new releases for next year, including the Prime– our new 575gram binding

The Prime on the Jones Carbon Solution

Our new heel lock down (just realized we didn’t take any pics of this, so I’ll post one later), the rest of our binding line, and accessories including board clips and crampons.

The Binding Line Up- Split30 standard (black), SL’s (green and blue), Prime (white)

A couple new things for next year that we didn’t have ready for the show:  The Split30 standard will be getting a new custom highback with some rad features: negative fwd lean for touring, quick turn on the fly forward lean adjustment (same as this year’s SL’s), reduced weight by approximately 80grams.  Additionally, we are working on new straps and buckles for next season so stay tuned.

The busy booth.                                                                         Two board shape masters

After the show wrapped up we had three days in Europe and no plans.  At Jeremy’s suggestion, we grabbed a train to Innsbruck to meet up with him, Mitch, and Bibi.  We didn’t get to shred with them as they were prepping for their multi-week trip deep into the Karwendel Range for Further.

But we did get to shred Mitch’s home mountain Nordekette.  With this as your backyard, there’s no question in my mind why Mitch won the Freeride World Tour last year.

Mitch and Bibi’s backyard, literally

Mitch gave us a few pointers on where to go and they did not disappoint.

Overall, it was a great show and a great trip.  Looking forward to another good year!  Thanks to Jeremy, Chad, and the whole Jones crew for all the support!  Big thanks to Russell for manning the SIA booth while we flew to Munich.  Lastly, big thanks to Mitch and Bibi for the hospitality and for pointing us to the goods!

    Julien,

We haven’t set a price on the Primes yet. We’re still working out what our manufacturing costs are. We should have more info later this summer.
